Terms of Use

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Accounts

Some features require an account. You may sign in with Google OAuth and/or email and password authentication provided through our auth provider. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• Providing accurate profile information and keeping it reasonably up to date
• All activity that occurs under your account, unless you notify us of unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse other users, or put the Services or other people at risk.

The Services

Subject to these Terms, Playtiva lets signed-in users, among other things:

• Create and edit profiles (display name, sports, preferences)
• Create, join, invite others to, leave, or cancel matches for padel or tennis
• Manage rosters, optional booking links (for example Taykus or Playtomic), and match results where the App allows it
• Send and read text chat with other players enrolled in the same match while chat is open; messaging closes after the match end time, and prior messages may remain readable to enrolled players
• Follow other players and view personal statistics

Feature availability may change as we improve the product. Rules enforced in the App (for example who can invite, leave, cancel, submit a result, or send chat messages) are part of how the Services work and may be updated over time.

Matches, Clubs, And Venues

Playtiva is a coordination and discovery tool. We are not a club, court operator, booking platform, or tournament organizer unless we expressly say otherwise.

• Match details (city, club name, time, roster, scores, and similar) are provided by users. We do not guarantee that a match will take place, that a court is reserved, or that information posted by other users is accurate.
• Any booking, payment, or reservation with a club, venue, or third-party booking service is solely between you and that third party. Optional booking links in the App are convenience links only.
• You are responsible for showing up on time, complying with venue rules, and resolving disputes with other players or clubs yourself.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or impersonate other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent match, profile, or result information
• Send harassing, abusive, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate chat messages
• Use the Services for commercial spam, scraping, or unauthorized automated access
• Attempt to bypass security, interfere with the Services, or access another user's account
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate
• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as profile text, photos you upload, match descriptions, chat messages, and results). By submitting content, you grant Playtiva a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the Services (for example showing your profile and match participation to other signed-in users, and showing match chat to enrolled players).

You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not violate these Terms or third-party rights. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

Statistics And Results

Personal statistics (such as record, win rate, streaks, partners, and favorite club) are derived from match and result data in the App. Results and derived stats may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect if users enter wrong information or if technical issues occur. Statistics are provided for informational and recreational purposes only.

Fees

Playtiva does not currently charge fees for using the core Services. Court bookings, club memberships, and third-party booking fees are outside Playtiva and remain your responsibility. If we introduce paid features later, we will describe the applicable terms before charging you.

Intellectual Property

The Services, including branding, software, design, and documentation (excluding your content), are owned by Playtiva or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our software or branding except as needed to use the Services as provided.

Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on or link to third parties, including authentication providers (such as Supabase Auth and Google), hosting providers, and optional booking sites. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. Playtiva is not responsible for third-party sites or services.

Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that match coordination through Playtiva will meet your expectations.

Playtiva is not responsible for injuries, property damage, or other losses arising from physical play, venue conditions, travel to a match, or interactions with other users or clubs.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Playtiva and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the Services or these Terms.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Services or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us to use the Services in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or (b) fifty euros (€50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us. We may suspend or stop providing the Services, or terminate or restrict your access, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the product.

Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

Changes To These Terms

These Terms are effective as of August 4, 2026. We may update them from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page unless we state otherwise. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If we make material changes, we will provide a prominent notice on the Site or App, or through the email address associated with your account when available.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts in Spain will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have to bring claims in your local courts.
